This Couple's Romantic Wedding Was Complete With Sweeping Views of the Surrounding Vineyards

I don’t photograph weddings south of Toronto very often, but as soon as I met with Caila and Mick I knew I needed to photograph their vineyard wedding! We’d met at Mick’s brother’s intimate backyard wedding the year before, and I remembered their relaxed, happy, and fun loving personalities well.

These two wanted a family focused wedding, surrounded by their closest friends and family, where they could enjoy one another company and laugh all day with their loved ones.

Despite working with pandemic restrictions, these two were so creative and came up with work-arounds to still incorporate some of the most meaningful moments into their celebration. For example, given the ‘footloose-ian’ law of no dancing at the time, the couple hosted their first dance together directly after their ceremony. Swaying and twirling under their ceremony arch in front of their family already gathered there to watch their ceremony.

I left them shortly after a stunning, romantic, and laughter filled sunset session in front of the grapevines, and it looked like their evening was off to a wonderful start!

If Mick’s easy laugh and Caila’s stunning smile aren’t enough to keep you scrolling through this gallery, make sure you at least make it to their sweet and joy filled first look!
