Megan and Matt were married in an intimate wedding at the family vineyard in Vineland, Ontario.  They wanted to keep things simple, inviting only their closest friends and family, and doing away with any wedding traditions that didn't suit them, to spend more time enjoying the finer parts of their day with each other and their families.  Dogs and chickens roamed the property, and even the vineyard guard falcon, Doug, patiently made an appearance for the family photographs. 

The bride got ready in the attic bedroom of the old farmhouse settled between the vines and kitchen garden.  She wore a simple wrap dress along with a homemade bouquet and vine crown, and later wore a ring handmade alongside Matt's that suited them perfectly. 

Their evening finished with a beautiful meal created by local chefs, that blended the bountiful Niagara produce with traditional recipes from the groom's heritage in the Southern United States.  As I left for the evening, guests were seated at a beautiful banquet table set up on the covered porch, enjoying their dinner, and watching a classic Ontario summer thunderstorm roll across miles of vineyards.
