Kat & Marshall's Lifestyle Fall Engagement Session in Downtown Toronto. From Craft Beer to Long Boarding by the Lake.

Kat and Marshall knocked it out of the park when it came time to plan their engagement session!  As lovers of downtown Toronto, they wanted to commemorate who they are and the neighborhood their loved so much at this time in their lives together, so we hit the pavement in Liberty Village and created some of my favourite engagement photographs to date.

We started off in Liberty Village, strolling their neighborhood together, talking about what they’re most excited for about their wedding, and shooting some hella stylish photos that look like they’re right out of a street style campaign.  Our next stop on the list was to visit Brazen Head, their go-to local pub for a quick snack and a pint before getting changed for our final photo location of the evening.  Grabbing their longboards from the trunk and changing their dress clothes out for jeans and sneakers, we headed down to the Ontario Place waterfront and finished the session with some longboarding by the water.  Watching the sun go down over the lake and documenting these two having such a fun time playing on their longboards together is hands down one of my favourite moments.

Engagement sessions can be anything, and are a great chance to let your personality shine through in photographs.  Get creative, have some fun with it, and most importantly plan an activity that will help you relax and settle in in front of the camera.  The best thing about Kat and Marshall’s engagement photographs is that they feel so ‘them’!

Enjoy scrolling through, and I hope you get inspired!
